I drove to my ace in the hole outlet. No small Pistol primers anywhere.

I checked 3 places that always have them.

:favorites21: i should have bought more reloading supplies when I had the chance....but I got in this game in 05-06 so I got in kinda late, but none the less I got myself and immediate family taken care of.

I feel sorry for my friends who did not heed my warning.

They are going to pay triple IF they can find what they NEED.

I've got guns and ammo in many calibers and continue to pick up ammo at a fast pace. I never did get into reloading and now doesn't seem like the time to start. I too have myself and my family taken care of with stock on hand and the friends who did not heed my advice ahead of time will indeed be sorry. I will be able to help out several of them but high prices they'd pay to get armed today will look cheap in comparison. :36_3_16:

Might as well put in a backorder somewhere and try not to worry about it. At least your order will get filled when the next bunch starts arriving, and you won't have to race everyone for it.

I've been adding tons of components over the past year. I predict a 5000 case of primers will equal one ounce of gold within 2 years.

I put a backorder in with Graf's and Sons for primers. I should see them by August, assuming the world hasn't burned to the ground by then.

The guy at Walmart tells me that he has people lining up at his counter to buy ammo on the days he gets in shipments which may or may not contain ammo. He says that these people are "ammo brokers" and buy all the high demand stuff they can get to put on sites like Gun Brokers.

Possibly the same sort of thing is going on with primers although I don't think the opportunity for arbitrage exists with primers as it does with ammo bought at Walmart.
